Learn About Being Energy Smart

This activity introduces younger students to the basic concept of energy and its impact on
the environment. Terms like stored energy, working energy, electricity, energy efficiency,
renewable energy, nonrenewable energy, and global climate change are briefly explored
through an in-class presentation. These concepts are reinforced in a bookmark coloring project.
