Welcome to the RnE2EW site!

Developed through a partnership among the Department of Energy (DOE), the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Midwest Research Institute (MRI), and BP America, RnE²EW is an educational-outreach vehicle designed to educate students, teachers, and the community in renewable energy and efficiency sciences as well as to showcase DOE/NREL research and technology. As a component of the Office of Education and Public Relations Programs, RnEČEW compliments the following education purposes:

  • Providing K-20 educational experiences
  • Energizing students through programs and competitions
  • Vitalizing undergraduates through research internships
  • Cultivating dynamic education partnerships
