CLOUT - Coalition for Learning Opportunities and United Tutors Program

Volunteer tutoring students in classroom setting

Volunteers provide "one-on-one" tutoring experience to students on a weekly basis throughout the school year.

The Coalition for Learning Opportunities and United Tutors (CLOUT) Program is a science literacy enhancement tool that assists fourth grade students from Denver area schools in raising their science reading skills.

The intent of CLOUT is to combine topical reading with related hands-on science activities to help improve student reading-comprehension and sustain their reading progress and interest in the topic selected. Please click on the links below to choose topic-specific materials for your elementary classroom.
